What's wrong with that? There's another voice that chimes in and lays on the guilt and shame and tells you that your behavior is bad. My 90-day coaching program will take you on a step-by-step journey of transformation where we’ll use nutritional habit change to tackle your weight loss challenges and achieve your ideal health state.

We’ll look at what you’re currently doing and where you want to go, then we’ll create a roadmap and plan of action to get there—with lots of support and encouragement along the way!

How We’ll Work Together:

I work in partnership with my clients, making them active participants in their health. I believe the answers lie within you. My role is to help you bring them forth.

During each session, we’ll focus on mastering a new technique to build your new health foundation. At the end of each session, we’ll talk about action items for the following week. You’ll also get helpful handouts to take with you after each session to guide you every step of the way, such as cheat sheets, meal plans, reference guides, journaling exercises, and more. Plus, you’ll have my support in between sessions if questions come up, or you hit a challenging spot and need encouragement.

In 90 days, you’ll have mastered a complete nutritional system to help you achieve and sustain your optimum health state. 

My Coaching Style: As your partner on this journey of transformation, I will use proven weight loss techniques and strategies to help you reach your goals and become your healthiest version of you. I will also deliver authenticity and real-life, down to earth life-coaching sessions as needed. When a crisis arises, it can be dealt with in order to clear through the muck and move forward. I use compassionate leadership and gentle guidance to help you through challenging times.

1 chocolate frosting cookie? Nah, I’m good. Oh, I can have the WHOLE package? SIGN ME UP! Run 1 mile? Nah, I’m good. Run 10? Sign me up! I wasn’t always a health coach. Before coaching I was an extremist - addicted to the quick fix. I didn’t know any better. I was an obese girl who got thin. I thought it HAD to hurt and that everyone who was thin was simply walking around in excruciating physical and mental pain. Weren’t they?

After a lifetime of being obese, dragging around a trauma history, binge eating and chronic pain disorders, and feeling very uncomfortable in my skin, I finally decided to make a change. I was SICK AND TIRED OF BEING SICK AND TIRED. Sound familiar?! 

I was depressed with intrusive thoughts and so anxious that the same relentless nagging narratives kept playing over and over inside my tired brain, preventing me from sleeping, concentrating and creating. I was in a job I hated, with no real friends because I pushed them away, and in an abusive relationship. I was the “yes girl,” pleasing everyone else but myself, solving everyone else’s problems and putting myself on the line for everyone else but ME. So I began eating my big feelings away.

Over the next couple of years, I lost 130+ pounds through various forms of militant exercise, and extreme dieting that included checking my blood sugars multiple times a day (and I wasn’t diabetic)! My weight dropped down to 115, and alas, I was TOO thin; with collar bones protruding and sunken in cheeks. My number and body checking got rapidly worse and I wound up really sick, almost landing in the emergency room. I landed on my bathroom floor instead. Yep!

After uncovering what was holding me back from having my WHOLE dream and living it FULL OUT, I began to shift my habits and outlook. I became more positive and hopeful. I started accepting and loving my body and criticized myself less, realizing the amazing journey this body has survived. Ultimately I was able to find healthy BALANCE. Balance. Yup, that ugly 7-letter word that takes so much damn work. UGH! It’s true, there’s no magic pill or potion. But there IS a magic sweet spot for everyone, somewhere in-between 1 cookie and 2 miles. 

In addition to my badass life experience, my 15 years of training in Psychology, Social Work and Health and Life Coaching, I have a kickass intuition that never lets me down and empathic tendencies. "I have to laugh when I think of the name of your page because my mind was truly "Tangled"! 

I reached out to Katelyn and she helped me work through the steps to stand up for myself and learn how to feel the weight of my choices, so I wouldn't fall victim again.
